Better Business Writing

Training in business writing covering core techniques that will help participants write more clearly and effectively whatever the writing task: internal email, operational or management reporting, customer correspondence, web content and more.

Suitable for people at all levels within an organisation, these workshops examine how to identify what you really want to communicate and how to get that message across. We also - very importantly - look at how to avoid sending out the wrong messages. The programme can be tailored to include work on your own material.

Participants learn to:

  • To write in a way that presents a professional image of their organisation and themselves.
  • To understand the value and features of plain English.
  • To plan and write reader-focused documents that engage with their audience.
  • To spot and avoid common communication pitfalls.
  • To get their message across first time.
